IT problems

My mouse was erratically freezing, it was driving me NUTS! I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, I ensured that all my software was up to date but still the problems persisted. I even thought of calling the local “I can fix your computer” guy. Obviously the last thing I tried worked.

I changed the battery in my USB mouse. That did it

My background is as a veterinarian and an academic. At one point, I had a computer that would give me an alert saying “your mouse is dying” when the battery was low. While laughing at the poor phrasing, I would always stop to ask myself, am I supposed to save it or euthanize it?
