the wine was for the september gathering in arkansas

I know you know how to make wine scotty but may I ask how much sulfite you used and what size batch this is? The directions on the can are pretty confusing if not paying attention, I would try stirring the snot out of it in big primary and try another yeast starter slowly adding in some of this wine a little at a time.

exactly what i did Wade-- there was definitely a sulfite smell- i used a liquid sulfite mix that was on the can trying to make t easy for myself-- ill bet i mixed it wrong--- i threw the stuff out-- i need some peach wine in less than 3 months for the de gray gathering--im going to use frozen white grape peach and then re check the liquid that i made. i probably sulfited the dickens out of the fruit and should have waited 2 days for it to disipate-- weeel another lesson

Sorry buddy but if you are wanting a peach wine that quickly you better get an Orchard Breezin kit or buy some commercial. Even the kit would still be a little green by then

Its almost here scotty...did you get that peach wine made buddy ??
