Did Oswald act alone

Don't think so, like almost every conspiracy theory, if true there would have to be enough people involved that by now the truth would have come out. More than 2 people can't keep a secret for long.

Mike

As proved evident during the clinton administration, govt and people with in it, can not keep a secret.
A simple little act became front page news, and that was between 2 people.

Now if we assume for arguement sake that Oswald acted with someone else, even on orders from the Govt, Mafia, LBJ etc...etc..., we have added atleast 1 other person.
And people talk.
We can assume that if there is a conspiracy on a broad scale, it would involve numerous people and plans and at some point along the way, someone would object.

And if you look at the reason that a conspiracy wanted to remove Kennedy, there have been far better reasons and far worse presidents in the last 30 years and we let them finish thier terms.

Oswald was a marine trained marksman. He could have pulled off those shots.
He was probably misguide, or guided by the groups he traveled among.
But I dont think LBJ was pulling his strings.

Having a educational background in history, I have read the books and books about events all through history.
People talk and nothing stays hidden for long. Ask Benedict Arnold!

So Oswald acted alone, as noted here
But Aliens are real and being kept secret in area 51 by the govt!

They say it was too horrific an act to be done by only one man. I offer Sandy Hook as just one of the last horrific events accomplished by a single person.

I voted for Oswald did not act alone because I think he had some level of assistance. That is not to say that he was not the only shooter.

I do have some problems with the whole affair though that I feel have not been adequately answered. A few of many are:

1. Oswald. Yes he was a "Marksman" which is the lowest qualification in the military for a rifleman, below "Sharpshooter" and "Expert."
2. The rifle. A 6.5 mm Mannlicher-Carcano carbine is not a good weapon by any measure.
3. The marksmanship. Two hits out of three with a scoped bolt action rifle in a 7 inch pattern in 5 point something seconds is darn good shooting, considering the weapon used.
4. Witnesses. Many people said they hear two shots in quick succession and then one a longer period afterward. Many also said they smelled burnt gun powder at the street level.

I don't think we will ever know the whole story about this event.

+1 Oswald had help. There is no way he was the only shooter.

The Warren Commission was a joke....

Yes, there is a conspiracy. Perhaps as that generation dies out, the truth will come out.

Allow me to add:

5. There has been some correlation made between Oswald and Jack Ruby prior to the event. I'm not saying, as some do, that they KNEW each other, just that there's a correlation. Just for fun, see: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lgd_QY1c8q8[/ame]

6. With no conspiracy how did Jack Ruby manage to get that close to a high-value witness like Oswald, who was surrounded by police? To the point where he literally put the barrel of his gun in the man's stomach.

7. Look at the shooting film. Why are the police surrounding the scene so calm afterward? Pure training? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6PcVCqg3tg[/ame]

8. Jack Ruby died of cancer before he could be tried and sentenced. If there was a conspiracy, wouldn't that have made him the PERFECT man to send to shoot Oswald? Perhaps his family got some money out of the deal.

There are too many loose ends.

I believe Oswald did not act alone. I also believe we'll never know in our lifetime. I also believe Monroe's death is unexplained.

Well then, Kim, let me explain it to you. She wanted Jack to divorce Jackie and marry her or she was going public. Someone decided to settle "out of court."

OK,

We need to go there. How many of us think that there was a conspiracy?

I agree with Rocky and others who say other individuals were involved in addition to Oswald. However what was the motive? Since the Kennedy family did not push hard for an investigation I think it involves something very embarrassing for them. The old Oliver Stone film made some good points.

That is the best argument i have ever heard.
The kennedies had ties with everything legal and illegal.
Where u think they got there money from originally...Illegally.

I think Oswald was just a patsy. wheres the magic bullet. Well never know the whole truth .

Aliens are at area 51, they're being guarded by bigfoots!

Lol ! Rocky I so believe with you. . Someone wanted the two of them out of the picture
