I know the folks out east are experiencing record snowfall. Well, over here we are setting records of our own. Today we broke a record for the longest period without snow. We haven't had even an inch of snow in any one day this year. And with our warm temps (almost 40 today) any light dustings have long disappeared. Here you can compare the winery from last year to today. I'll take today. Hope you guys out east at least dig out before the next two storms they are predicting come through.

It was 70 in Seattle yesterday. No snow this year, and hardly any rain... Did I mention this is in Seattle? Where they say we have 300 days of rain a year..

Now, I may be building an Ark come April/May, but we'll see.
Could be a wet Spring though..

Enjoy it while you get it Greg.

Here we are in our typical winter pattern for our area of NY. Fairly cold and finishing up with one of our driest months of the year- January. We got a dusting from the latest storm and have maybe 6 inches total on the ground. High over the weekend expected at about 5 degrees with low around -10F. We should soon be getting the heavier storms here as the jetstream begins it's northerly retreat signifying a gradual move to spring. Of course I wouldn't mind mild temps and little snow........................

We got about 6" of snow from that same storm that just hit the east coast a few days ago. It was 55 degrees yesterday. Top down weather!

High of 60 today here, low of 27, tomorrow's high 43. Saturday 47, Sunday 53 with rain...

We are right in the middle of the weather crusher!

We hit mid 70s earlier this week. In the 50s today and tomorrow. Snow and 30s Saturday. Gotta love Colorado

We've had a ridiculous warm streak lately. Up to +3c one day!! I've never seen weather like this in January. However, because the water table is so low, the whole city has been on a Boil Water advisory for the last 2 days because of potential e-coli.

Snapped back down today though to around -20c. That's more like it!

Wel, we don't have a warm streak but I am not that Far East that we are getting the snow they are BUT I would rather have the snow than the dam ice storms we are getting.

Well it is February now here in Upper NY (along with everywhere else). We never know if it will be snowy or cold here, so this year it has decided to be both. I reported yesterday in the Snowy in CT thread about it snowing quite heavy at -10F. Well it never got above -4F and we ended up with about 10 inches of snow. Deciding that wasn't enough bad weather for us, instead of the predicted -6 degrees the weather gave us -18F. In Saranac Lake just to our southwest it is -24F this AM with wind chills in the mid minus thirties. The rest of the week looks about the same, cold and snowy.

I hope you are faring better out there Greg.

It will dip down into the single digits tomorrow but I'm looking at the 10 day forecast of 20's and 30's. So far, so good. We have zero snow.
