I have been lurking the weeds for awhile, looking up and reading. Well today I had a issue and asked on the beginners Forum and got my answer right away (yeast dilemna). Figured I had better intro myself.
I'm a retired Sheriff Lt. and last year my nieghbor and I made 101 bottles of "Dago Red", turned out PERFECT , so now I'm hooked. Bought my own starter kit and jumped into the wine making with both feet. Currently I have "Cooking", 5 gal of Wild Blueberry, 6 gal Wild Blueberry w/ raisins, 6 gal of Chokecherry, 6 gal of Chokecherry (friends recipe), and today I have 6 gal of Blackberry started AND Saturday we are again making "Dago Red" and this year we are doing 14 lugs for Napa Valley grapes (our comm. gets together and orders an entire semi load of grapes from Napa Valley and they are scheduled to be delivered this Sat.). Oh, I don't even drink that much, so I love doing it and then giving it away!!
