Thanks!!! Now to figure out what I wanna get!! one, two, three or more buckets,,,LOL!!

I want to get one of each red. I told you what I did last year. I've cut way down on whites for a while. I need to burn through some since their shelf life is like 2-3 years and just concentrate on reds for awile.

I am going for a drum of the Malbec and a drum of the Carmenere! That will be enough until the California juices come in the fall.

Has anyone had the Chilean gewurztraminer?

I got the gewurtztraminer last year. Very good in my opinion. Make sure you check the acid, mine was only at .45% which according to everything I read was way low. I adjusted post fermentation to .78%. Everything I could find had readings between .65 and .90. I did back sweeten ours to .998.

I'll probably end up with 3-4 buckets, I'm staying away from the whites. I'll get those locally in the fall. Cant see the list from my tablet but, probably get a barbera and petite syrah if availabe and the the carmenere or malbec. Ill have to decide.

I think I am going for a Zin, a Cab and a Merlot for making a Menage Trois red blend or maybe a Gewurtz, Syrah, Merlot for a Rose' blend....

I'm getting at least 4 Malbec's for sure. I was very happy with that juice. I really didn't like the white's I got (Riesling, Vionier and Chardonnay). so I might not get any whites this time :ft

Doug get the Riesling. I know there was some talk about the whites were a disappoint but I'm thinking they just need time to age. I opened a bottle of 2011 Chilean Riesling for supper tonight and Dear Lord this was just awesome.

I think I will be getting the Malbec, Zin, Riesling and a Gewurtztraminer

The whites definately need acid adjusted. The ones I've had were way off and I didn't check all of them since I was unnder the impression they were both sugar and acid balanced based on what others have said. I believe the juices from Consumers are acid adjusted as the whites I got from them in the past I did nothing to and they were good.

I've been adding just a touch of acid at time of drinking for those that I did not adjust and they are a very good wine.

So far my whites were acid adjusted, TA was .62% on the Reisling.

First weekend for pickup is March 30th.
