Having a mexican dinner tomorrow night. anybody know of a good frozen margarita recipe?

(or wine-a-rita recipe that uses white wine?)

I like 'em frozen if possible.

I don't typically make 'em frozen, but here's my recipe (it's easily scaled):

2 cups fresh squeezed lime juice
2 cups tequila (I like Hornitos, or Patron Silver)
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
1 cup Gran Marnier or Triple Sec (optional - I frequently just add the juice of one orange instead, or skip entirely)

Warm the water slightly on the stove and add the sugar. Stir until dissolved to make a simple syrup. Combine syrup with other ingredients and shake. Voila! This recipe is so simple, but everyone who has these loves them.

I'm not sure, but if you're looking to do frozen, you could try dissolving the sugar in the lime juice, and then using 2+ cups of ice instead of water.

I have found Limeade invaluable in making Margarita's. Fast, easy and I have had many compliments and I live in the Southwest.

1 small can frozen limeade.
Empty can into blender.
Fill empty can to top with favorite TooKillya and pour in blender
Fill empty can once again with Gran Marnier or Triple Sec. (this is not an optional step!)

Start blender and add ice until it gets to the frozen consistency you want. You may need to pulse as well as go on high for a bit depending on the strength of your blender.

Optional:

Wet the rim of the glass with lime wedge and salt with margarita salt.
Garnish rim with lime wedge.

Serve with homemade guacamole from the place just down the road from me that invented Tableside Guacamole

I like this but I like a little pure orange juice in it also.
