Opened a bottle of my 1st red wine kit. It is 5 months old. The Mezza Luna Red has a wonderful taste. A little on the watery, weak body side. I didn't detect any KT. Right now, if I was a person breaking into red wines, this would be one to start with, in my opinion. Not dry and not sweet.
