I have the minijet, I have used it 2 times, I love using it for racking, especially now as I have had hernia surgery a couple of weeks ago.

I was about to move my wine from the primary to the secondary, using a water flush first to make sure it was clean. When I put the output hose on, I broke an ear off the black connector.

When I bought the unit last month , the gentleman there told me it would be good to have a few spare parts on hand. I bought 2 of those black parts with the 'ears' that hold the white clamp in place.
I don't want to brake the unit. Do I just pull out the piece with a pair of pliers and push the replacement in?

I just sold mine as I hadn't used it in several years but I belive I quit using those locks all together. They were more of a pain then anything.

Sent an email to Buon Vino. Wow! They responded right away!

Good service.

I normally just carefully rack kit wines, so filtering is not usually used. the hernia surgery has taught me a lesson - don't lift full carboys. I normally just use it for transferring CB to CB, when the autosiphon is not an option.

I think it does a fantastic job, it was just those clips I found to be a pian and most people leave them off after a while.
