Yep, it is snowing like crazy, thank God that they closed the colleges, one less trip I have to make.... we were supposed to get 1-3 inches, right now it appears to be more like 6 inches and still coming down.... I dislike winter...lol
Got to go shovel my wife out, maybe she won't be stubborn and let me drive her to work instead....

Yeah, we got about 5" here also and there is nothing better then waking up and doing the driveway and sidewalks around the house thats not even my property (town). I have a lot of sidewalk at the new house and the plows really seem to dump all the snow there and Im required to do the 1's in front of my property or get fined! :m

After a week of sub-zero nights (as low as -22F) and days hovering above zero, yesterday warmed up to 15 to 20 degrees and dumped 6 inches of snow on us- a bit more than the 1 inch predicted. Oh well... We typically get another 3-4 feet between now and spring. Tomorrow will approach 50 for a one day warmup.

Same for us. This is the first time I've had to crank up my snowblower. I am not prepared out at the winery for this yet. I have a lawn tractor with a snowblower attachment but I don't have chains for the tires and it just sits and spins. I'll head out there tonight to check things out. This was a heavy wet snow so unfortunately it didn't blow away.

We are enjoying temps near freezing but in a couple days it will be back to -20 for a couple days.

Tom, your colleges close for a measly 6 inches? WOW!
