Just back from grocery shopping. Not only was I thrilled to see a Red Mountain blend for under twenty bucks, but there was a wealth of information on the back label.

Here's the front:

I can't figure out how to put more than one pic in a single post, so here's the back label:

That certainly is an aweful lot of info that only a small percentage of the people will really read. I always enjoy seeing it as most on here would. I also include a lot of the same information on our website at work on each of our wines but not on the bottles.

Click on the attachment link (paperclip) and it allows you to attach about 8 photos

Hedges was one of the early pioneers on Red Mountain (1989), well before it was named its own AVA in 2001. They put out some pretty good wines with a high QPR. Costco usually carries a few bottles of their wines. I have had this one as well as their CMS (Cab-Merlot-Syrah) blend. All good bang for the buck as they say and probably one of the most inexpensive commercial bottles of wine available from Red Mountain. Definitely unusual to have that level of info posted on a label!

Wow. Neat label! It should be law that ALL wines are labeled this way.

It is also interesting to see the "slight" additions (2% of this 1% of that) in the grape blend and also the oak used.
