Well I received a call form 1 of my parents neighbors for a side job replacing a stair balustrade. When I was young and waiting for the school bus i remember rainy days and hanging out underneath this big tree in my neighbors yard. It always covered the road with berries that were delicious and today when I was there I asked them if it would be OK to snag some when they ripen and offered them some of this wine when its ready and some other wines that I have right now. Come July I will be a picking them which brings me to the question. Has anyone ever made Mullberry wine and have good recipe? What a great day, I got the job and the berries come July plus she has a friend who wants some stair work done also. That will really help with filling up my oil tank and replace some of the money from fixing my car!

Bad news Wade. Mulberries of all sizes and shapes in all stages of ripeness are highly laxative in properties. Many folks have tried and failed miserably in making Mulberry wine. It seems to ferment to dryness alright, but then it happens..........................................................

Really I have no idea about them Wade. Never had acess to them, but they should work great. Nice find!

I have never made mulberry wine. I may have to try that this summer. Mulberries are one of the easiest berries to pick. Lay a tarp under the tree and shake the branches. The ripe berries will fall from the tree. A little sorting and you are good to go.
I am cutting 3 mulberry tree out of the neighbors fence line this week. He can't get his farm machinery by them. Got to have a few more feet to farm. They are his trees and he was going to take them out anyway. I kinda bartered with him. He pushed my snow this winter and I cut his trees. I'm getting a little campfire wood out of it also.
