Everytime my dog hears a cork "pop", she comes running...lol...I usually dip a finger in the wine that we are drinking and let her ( a pure breed boxer) taste some.
Lately, this dog stares at my wine rack...LMAO!

Tonite, my daughter saw the dog wagging her tail near the wine rack doing what looked like lapping up liquid?....

One of the Spumante bottles must have not had the stopper pushed in all the way and started to leak a fine stream of wine....guess who was there catching it all...LOL!

The dog has good taste!!

OMG, A BOXER!!!!!!!!!! Tom we have so much to take about. I have a boxer named Jesse. I have come to realize she is a chocoholic.

We have a thread show us your pets, post some pics. It is a sticky in general chit chat

Julie, l'll post a few pics!
Rocky, man, I swear to you this dog loves wine!....lol!

Tom & Julie, Please take the time to read this article. http://www.petcarerx.com/c/248/Dogs/health/the-most-poisonous-foods-for-dogs Alcohol and chocolate are two very dangerous foods for dogs.

I know Rocky, I do not give her candy, I her 2 1/2 years she has eaten a bag of salt water taffy, a bag of Rizen, and yesterday a Box of chocolate mints. After the taffy and Rizen these are chocolate caramel candy, I make sure I put stuff like that out of her reach. Apparently I didn't have them shoved far enough in the corner!

Rocky, boxers are freakin tanks no matter what they eat they never get sick

Their personalities are unbelievable. I post stories of Jesse all the time on my Facebook page.

I grew up protected by boxers. As small children we always had litters of them in the house. We loved the dogs and they were always extra gentle to us even as pre-schoolers. Not sure why my Mom and Dad ever got rid of them. Maybe they just got too old. I will have to try to ask one of my older sisters or brother.

Rich, They are soooo energetic! Julie, I agree, they are like tanks, not to mention how freakin smart they are, very skittish, but smart, it doesn't take long for ours to figure out our routine!

Arne, Boxers seem to know when you are trying to run a line on them.
