I bought this drill mix years ago after seeing it advertised and thought it looked pretty cool. As it turned out it was a nightmare in carboys creating volcano's like you never saw. As I was getting out my regular paddle one I saw this and thought I would give it another try in my brute for adding sugar. It was a blessing. Really mixes things up like nothing else. I added 20 pounds of sugar straight instead of simple syrup. I am using it daily to mix my batch. It just goes to show every tool has it's place.

I never make syrup anymore for a primary, just add sugar or honey and make sure the chuck is tight, and dont drop the key into the primary either! Works great for backsweetening too in a bottling bucket - on low. We actually went to BigMart and bought weaker drill so we could us it in more ways. Also use the paint stirrer types for making sugar syrup to feed to the bees. WVMJ
