Name this fruit

Hello fruit lovers. I am trying to identify this tree. Here is a pic of the fruit so far. It is not ripe yet.

Really looks like a peach tree

Leaf looks like peach family
Does not look like a fuzzy fruit, ,, would put it into nectarine family

I wondered if it is a red plum or nectarine. I am trying to determine if it is healthy enough to save or to put in another tree. I bought a Blenheim apricot tree and need to find a spot

I believe this is a Japanese plum tree

I am leaning toward nectarine based on the leaf shape.

Looks a lot like a fruit I've seen imported from Chile marketed as an Asian Pear, AKA numerous other names including a Japanese pear as Salcoco mentioned

Looks like nectarine
Tree looks healthy as well, if the fruit is not very good I suggest grafting
Plant the new tree near y and graft a few limbs per year onto this more mature tree. Stone-fruits graft very easy and most grafts will "take".
