My hubby does get annoyed when the concurrent batches exceed seven, like during fall harvest of fresh grapes/juice. I have had about 10 batches going until I can press and get things into carboys....

To warm up last season's wine for an MLF, I set three carboys up in her office (temps were about 7* warmer in there). I put them on chairs and named them the Three Wise Men. It was December, so she thought it was cute... and they kept her company. But, the kitchen? Yeah, not so much.
