New member from Western PA

Ve been making homemade wine on and off for over 30 years. I have always made simple wines and most people enjoy what I make, bur I've been interested in taking my part-time hobby to the next step and learn to ferment some more exotic wines as well as a few more well-known types. I usually work with fruit wines, since most homemade wine makers seem to have the "market" cornered on the grapes...lol

Thanks Rocky! I'm from the Altoona area (big metropolis...lol), just about 40 minutes south of Penn State University and about 2 hours east of Pittsburgh.

Ah, the "Great Flood" and "Horseshoe Curve" area! Know it well. I am originally from the Pittsburgh area.

I'm closer to the Muleshoe Curve ( lesser known, but still an engineering wonder)
