Hi,

I'm Just-a-Guy. I'm from NC, live in NY. I've been a (lousy) home brewer for a few years. Decided to venture into wine a bit. Found this forum via The Almighty Google. Grateful for places like this. Hoping to gain some wisdom, and with some luck, perhaps be able to give something back.

Welcome. You'll learn a lot here. I have. Do a lot of reading and if you have a problem with a batch, post all the relevant details with your question. At first I was a little miffed with the oldtimers here who unmercifully grilled people who asked a question. Then I started answering questions and found that I spent a lot of time suggesting something only to find out the person who asked the question didn't bother to mention this or that which would have narrowed down the problem.
