I have to express my complete admiration for what you have accomplished. Bravo!

Completing a wine kit in a dorm is stupendous! I can't begin to imagine how difficult it was to clean the carboy, etc. If this forum had an awards section, you would certainly be our first winner of the "Extreme Conditions" award!

How hot are these heat guns in regards to a blow dryer? My wife has a commercial style blow dryer that in my opinion gets pretty darn hot. It will not do a good job on the shrinks.

I have never burnt myself with it, the air comes out of an opening the size of a quarter and have never stuck my hand in front of it. However the wraps shrink to the bottles one, two three with it!!

Smurfe, I think the hair dryers incorporate too much air with the heat and that's why it doesn't work. The heat gun puts out more heat, less air.
