I've been lurking in the shadows for @3 weeks or so trying to learn this new hobby. The forums here have been very helpful to me. I'm from Mississippi and know absolutely no one in wine making. I haven't found a local supply area so sites such as this are invaluable.

Loner, welcome to the forum. Glad you found us and happy to have you on board.

As far as having a local supply store, we have a number of very good vendors on this site who will take excellent care of you. I live in the Columbus, Ohio area and, although I have a number of retail outlets nearby, I find I get better service and everything I need from suppliers via the internet.

Thanks Rocky. I have used Internet for everything. It keeps my wife on her toes .. She never knows what's waiting in the next box left at our front door.

Welcome to the forum. I buy all my supplies and kits from a supplier 750 miles away - The Wine Maker's Toy Store @finevinewines.com. They and all our other LHBS sponsors will ship you what you need.

Thanks to all for the welcome. The Toy Store definitely has my nbr.

Welcome. There is a lot of information, and help when ever you need it.

Thanks Terry/Julie: I'm sure the questions aren't far off. I've seen so many posts about Dragonsblood I have to try it next.

Welcome aboard, Loner. I see we have another convert! Hit us with your questions, we will help all we can. :h
