I am in search of a Niagara recipe that I could use

Dan-I was going to do concetrate, however I like the idea of the juice, do you have a web sight for walkers

Thanks Dan- how do you think this would different than buying juice at the store?

Id be willing to bet the Walkers juice is way better. I just finally started my 2 juices from walkers today, 5- Rhubarb, 5- Riesling. Of coarse I tasted the juice and it tasted awesome!

Dan,
Looks like a great place, only problem they do not take credit cards, not sure how you would pay for it

Yeah at least you found that out while your at home. It sucks driving 75 miles there and you're getting your juice and all of a sudden you remember you forgot to bring cash. Then its a five mile drive back to an atm machine.

I think you'll have to send them a check. Give them a call monday and ask.

Wade, saw an old thread where you made it with store bought juice how did that turn out, its hard to type with one hand, glass in other

Rob, I have made it from Welch's white grape and it turned out pretty good but not as good as a bucket or from a concentrate. Try www.homewinery.com and click on their concentrates.

I have a Walker's Niagara coming next week. My wine group went in and if you have 10 buckets, you get a nice discount. With the shipping, mine is costing $56. Not bad. I'm going to add limeade at the end. I had some like this... and man, was it good. A little like a Margarita!

Debbie don't be such a stranger. For the $56 is that the cost of one 5 gallon bucket and shipping with the discount? If thats right you did good as I know other folks are paying about $30 and it looks like you're down to about $20. Just good information to know when other people ask. So you're adding lime aid as an F-pac. I never heard of that but it sounds really good. How many cans did you add? I have 6 gallons in cold stabilization right now I could try this with.

I rarely get on this forum.. usually I'm on winepress.

Yes, $56 was the total cost... with shipping!! They have so many fruit juices to choose from...I will try many!
We drive within 10 miles of Walker's when we make our annual trip to visit hubby's kids in NY. Guess I'll have to rent a U-Haul!!

I have to get the total recipe yet, but what I was told... he used 2 cans of limeade at the end... left the bits floating... you shake the bottle up before pouring to disperse it. I had a bottle and it was amazing. Can't wait to make it myself.

Of course... I see lots of names I recognize... ahhh my name isn't the same here... but you figured me out anyway!! I was bored and ventured off the usual path.
Gotta go make bread now!!

Well sometimes you find some very nice things when you go off the beaten track, I see you have made several posts on here. Why don't you go to the intro section and introduce yourself?

I sent them a check for my Niagara juice, and they shipped the juice before the check cleared. Very nice people, especially Jan, she was a huge help.
