W.W.2 USAF pilot Jay Zeamer & his"renegade" aircrew rescued this old Boeing B-17E("666"-an abbreviation of the tail number,it also had a reputation for getting"Shot to Hell",on every mission) from the scrapheap.They "hotrodded"it with extra,larger calibre cannons...an amazing story.

yeah thanks a lot to bad more people aren't as proud of our service men & women that still serve and do just as honorable duty as these men did, now days it seems its a crime to be proud of our military,guess it is turning true that there is a pusification of Americans. I know I volunteered to do my service to my country and would go again if asked. I know I joined for my country not its leaders, sorry if i'm rambling been testing to much i guess lol

Whow, what an amazing story. I can't believe I've never heard of this, yet the truth is there are many many more stories of courage and service. I know know about the men of Old 666. I like these guys, they fight!!!
