If this is not in the right place, please move this.

I am a master of shipping because my business ships live aquatic plants and koi, very fragile items.

I was thinking about ways to package the wine for shipping

I used the plastic bags from the grocery. Filled them with shredded paper from the shredder ( I save the shreds for shipping) and worked the bottle down to the middle of the packing.

Tied up the bag and put it in a box and then used bunches of the plastic grocery bags around the edges and tops. I save these bags too (for inexpensive packing material that is light weight) around the edges so the bags would not move around or be up against the edge of the box.

I shipped one box to 2 sisters in MI and one to brother-in-law in FL

They were both impressed how well the wine traveled with Fed Ex ground.

I just thought I would pass this one...Sure I could have bought packing peanuts and bubble wrap but why not use stuff I save for shipping in my business?

I have a Fed Ex account and get a 30% discount because of the volume I ship.
