In general, I agree. The extra time is worth the wait. However, I just bottled a FWK Forte Pinot Noir that was very good the day I bottled it. Full, rich heavy body, jammy, lots of cherry. On the other hand A N Rhône bottled a couple of months ago is not particularly good and I love Rhônes.
The beta FWK Ultima Zinfandel I made was good a bottling (9 months), better at 12, and better yet at 14 months. I was surprised.

I've noted the FWK blends may need a bit more time. The Super Tuscan I made in 2021 is really good at 3 yo.

Note that the "Rhone" is Matteo's opinion of what would make a good blend, and it's a pre-fermentation decision. His opinion may not match up with the post-fermentation opinion of others. Give it a year for everything to meld.
