Places to Enjoy Wine

Recently, I attended the Maryland Renaissance Festival. There were an abundance of wines from our local winery (Linganore in Mt. Airy,MD) and Medieval Meade, also there was some pretty tasty hard cider.

Patrons could walk around with their tankards, flagons and drinking horns full of beer, wine, ales and meade the festival. It was great!

Has anyone else enjoyed good wine at a renaissance festival?

Our renaissance festival features a mead from one of our local wineries. Unfortunately, its the one I don't like and a great example of a too young to be served and no amount of honey is going to help it mead. But thats just my opinion.
