The weirdest thing is that after I turned on the main waterline valve to the house and tested the shower valve everything is just fine except in the kitchen sink. I have almost no water coming out. All other sources are full flow. Even the dishwasher right next to the kitchen sink is fine. We have loads of silica in our water and it coats things like glass and toilets with a nice silica deposit in no time. I suspect when I shut off the flow and opened the faucet in the kitchen to drain off pressure and then turned the water back on a nice chunk of silica broke free somewhere in the line and lodged in the manifold and plugged it almost solid. I need to pull the water line underneath and get a bucket and check the flow there before the faucet to see if the problem is indeed inside. Might be time for a new one......

Oh boy another plumbing project! :db

Never a dull moment with a house of your own! Dan, I had the same problem as you so many freakin times with my house I cant count on all my digits and even though Ive ben doing woodworking for quite some time I still have all twenty! When are they ever going to make a standard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good call Dan! Removed the aerator and turned on the water and it blasted out like a rocket.......

This faucet is only 6 years old. Luckily I keep some dilute HF acid around the house...... Bwahahahahahahhahahaha......

It is about the only thing in the world that will dissolve silica deposits. Amazing stuff. It will also dissolve glass if your not careful! Soaked the inside for ~10 min and now its running like it was before!
