There are about 20 In-N-Out locations in TX which was the birthplace of Whataburger so they are on the march heading east it seems slowly but surely.

I've had In-N-Out in Phoenix. These two are starting to battle it out in some markets. This was in Weatherford, Texas. Finally got one near me.

Yup, and Whataburger is heading west and into the central states, now that it is no longer owned by the founders. They have basically swarmed into the general area here. It should be a battle royale! 😄

Looks better than McDonald's and Burger King which is about all we have. Oh yeah, we have 5 Guys and Wendy's which are in the same class. If you want a decent burger here, you have to go to a local joint. The only problem with that is the burgers are 8 oz or larger and at least $12.

Split the burger with someone special

But I did notice on vacay in the NE that DUNKIN seems to be everywhere! Little teeny towns have one.... On the other hand Dollar General, which has tons of stores out in the middle of nowhere here, was relatively hard to find.

Yes, the NE is loaded with Dunkin, I think I have 2 on my way to work and I'm pretty rural until I get close to work. Dillsburg (they drop a pickle on New Years Eve) even had one, right beside the State Guestapo Liquor store.

A friend asked my advice regarding wines that he plans to gift to a couple of business associates. We discussed red, but I also pointed him towards a Champagne box set -- bottle with 2 glasses from a reputable vendor. I sent him a picture of the bottle and glasses of Perrier-Jouët that my then fiancé and I drank to celebrate our engagement.

We use the glasses once a year to celebrate something.

Retail price of the set in 1989 was $70 USD, and a distributor sold it to me for wholesale ($40). The current price from TotalWine for the 2014 wine is $210.
