I looked through 2 local grocery stores for anything in glass gallon jugs. I didn’t find one! I also didn’t think of Carlo Rossi - what a great idea. I have one wine making supply store in town - actually, beer is their thing mostly. $6 each for a gallon jug, which is good, if they aren’t out of stock. The next closest store 300 miles away in Anchorage wants $12 each and I didn’t even ask about shipping. I hate Amazon, but… and Facebook—where my husband bought 2 6-gallon glass carboys for $75. A steal up here. Thanks for letting me vent. I bought a new 3 gallon carboy for $55. I do like the 3 gallon size
