OK, If you dont have a press what do you use? Someone asked how to press 25# of grapes
 
You can use the 3 bucket method. One bucket would be the one to collect juice and this one is either stepped up just a little so the next bucket with holes drilled in it and holding grapes in it doesnt bottom out on the bottom one (the collector) and then another bucket on top to press the middle one down.
 
I did this for years - i used a piece of 1x2 about 6' long - and then took a section of 2x4 about 1' long.

I also put screws into the 2x4 where they came out the bottom to help puncture the grape skins.

Then - Nailed the 2x4 to the bottom of the 1x2 (looks like a T when done).

jon, do you have a pic of this? am having trouble finding "just the right bucket" style for next weekend...i bought some buckets at tractor supply, but am not convinced it's what i need...
