Reminds me of my youngest son (He's now 47). When he was about your boys age, whenever I sampled my wine he was there wanting to try it. I used to let him have a little sip so he wouldn't feel left out of it.
I don't know whether its judgement on my wines or just changing taste, but he rarely touches it these days. He's a fan of the Black stuff (Guinness).

My 2 yr old likes a sip of beer ('mmm beer') but he really does not like a sip of wine!
