The second photo looks like a "Leaf Roller", is there a little green worm inside that rolled up leaf?

Not that I seen there is one one of the pictures that showed the web like strings a white bug. We have not seen any worms but this evening I will check every leaf.

I get the holes and brown spots on my leaves. Not enough to hurt grapes or vines. Mother Nature will help to curb the insects and or fungus.

If it gets bad a good spray program will help but you will kill the good insects too.

Ok just got home look at new pictures no worm but black tiny bugs. This makes the third year me planting grapes first two years the vines was eaten by raccoons and now that I got ride of them they are growing. I don't want to loss these this year so if you can help please let me know up to any suggestions.

I don't know a thing about grapes, but I thought they looked like aphids also, I've used Neem oil....not all garden stores carry it...it is not an insecticide, more "natural"? I would mix the Neem oil with dawn soap and water to the containers recommended mix and spray both sides of the leaves. I use the dawn soap to help suspend the oil into the water. Good Luck

Ants are the culprit. They herd aphids like cattle. Aphids eat the leaves and secrete a sweet sticky substance that ants love.

You can spray but will kill the good insects like lady bugs that love aphids. If there are only a few leaves you could spray just those leaves or hand wash with warm soapy water.

If it has become a huge problem an insecticide may be your only solution.

I have apple trees. Ants love apples. I wrapped the trunks with fly paper, the sticky stuff. It kept ants from climbing up and didn't harm trees. Paper dries out over winter.

Heard of using insulation from your attic to wrap around trunks. Ants get cut up climbing over.
