If someone (*looks around) should happen to have forgotten to add yeast energizer to the must before adding the yeast, could this someone add it afterwards if it has only been 3 days or so??

That someone surely can add it later. Just don't add too much too late, which can result in it not all being consumed. At this point yo might add just a little less (60%) than you would have earlier.

Thanks for the replies, YES that makes me happy! Just picked up the energizer the day I made the post went to add it, and my fermentation is already going great, SG dropped a little, so I know my little buddies are eating well! I only used 50% of the recipe's amount because of this.

Winemaking is pretty forgiving. Forget to add something, it usually works anyway. Most recomendations on here are probably not entirely needed, but after many many batches by many many people it has been found things work out pretty good if the standard ways are followed. Most things we recomend here help stop failures. Doesn't mean we won't have problems, but usually things work out pretty good. Good luck with your wines, Arne.

I think this forum will be my primary "oops, what now??" site. I love wine, dont know why I hadn't taken this hobby up sooner!! :re
