Martina won 1st prize with her Mum wine at the county fair last year!

Yes, I won 1st place for my "other than grape" wine last year, which was the chrysanthemum wine. It mellowed out beautifully and was pretty good for the fair. I still am contemplating what I'm going to enter this year.





Right now Marigold, Rose-hip, Lavender or Chocolate Mint are up to discussion. Unfortunately, I can only enter 1 kind per category, so I have to decide.

Well, I was really surprised about it too when I saw the listing. Unfortuantely, they're a little stingy on the categories. I guess not a lot of people make "other than grape" wines around here.
