So does anyone know how to rack a crushendo the first time?

just kidding.

I followed the Aug 06 featured article and used a straining bag. It was easy as pie. Thanks to FVW once again.

And yet another photo of some carboys. I tell ya... I gotta get a work area with a sink. Walking back and forth between rooms is a pain.

I finally put a utility sink in my basement, but it is still a room away. But I'm not having to go up and down the stairs so much.

Sangwitch,

That is a nice little hord you have there!Edited by: pkcook

Wow!!! Your carboys are beautiful, Sang!!! You must feel rich!!! =)

I'll feel much better when I have some bottled! I also racked a beaujolais last night and it doesn't appear as if there's any activity today. The level in the airlock is even. I'm about to investigate and see what's up.

Are any of your wines in the photos past the stabilizing stage? If so you really need to top them up some to minimize the amount of surface area exposed.
