Other Racking

Edit: Im a dummy and drank the cab that is only a couple months old so that explains it.

....I have a fwk cab thats bulking for about 9 months so far. I had a separate half gallon that I kept separately for topping up when I rack. I havent actually racked it yet. I did maintain sulfites.
Anyhow, we drank the half gallon last night. It was good but still effervescent or bubbly.
Will racking help with that?
I want to bottle it at 1 yr. It's been under air lock. I also degassed after my first racking.

Do you mean you drank the topup from a newer batch of Cab? If so, confusion dispelled.

I meant to drink my petite syrah but instead drank my cab.
