Any kit's that don't have the strange finish anyone could recommend? Wife loves this wife but we have found the wines to be hit or miss even at the commercial level.

She loves the cooper's hawk Gewurztraminer but others can have a finish she doesn't care for.

Any suggestions?

You might do a bit of research into what Gwertz she likes. I'm not familiar with any typical rough or strange finish. Commercial ones often have a bit of residual sugar. Perhaps that is the difference she is tasting. A bit of sugar can smooth a rough finish or balance acid. You could take a bottle that has the finish she doesn't like and do a trial adding small amounts of sugar to see if it changes the finish for her.

She generally hasn't cared for the wine until trying coopershawk and then said it was her favorite white. Only an unoaked chardonnay is next. All of the store bought she has not cared for.
