I love excuses to drink wine. "I have to have 2 glasses a day for my health honey, and you should too"

Sorry to dispute the claim, but it didn't work for me. I have been taking aspirin every day for over 20 years and drank plenty of red wine and I still got lymphoma. Plenty of claims made, but few really work.

Grape, I was diagnosed with leukemia in 1996, so maybe it didn't work for me ether. Over the last 18 years I have learned that being a cancer survivor doesn't mean we live forever, no one gets to do that. Being a cancer survivor means living each day God giver you. :sm:hug

LOL you got that right! It would be nice for the experts to find a cure for all cancers, but so far there are no magic bullets. I think all three of us, not to mention millions of other survivors have all benefitted from what real research has been done. Here is to hoping real cures come along soon.

I'm a bit skeptical of such things as aspirin and red wine together. I think the real deal is the red wine in itself and maybe the aspirin to help prevent future blood clots and heart attacks.

I have been taking aspirin for 20 years & drinking red wine for over 25 yrs. no serious cancers but lots of skin cancers, just had a big fast growing one cut off last week. Too many years of building in Florida & living on a boat. Roy
