Well I just transfered my second kit today "Old Vine Cab". Everything is going well and by the book. I just learned the value of having one kit under your belt. When you need to top off your next batch you can use wine from your first batch.

I needed (2) bottles to top off and I could help but test taste this batch. It has been sitting now for about a month. When I took a sip it was definitely better than when I bottled it. Very light in structure with no back end but for a low end kit it wasn't bad. I curious what it will be like in 6 months.

It will improve over 6 months, but do yourself a favor and pick up a little bigger kit to make this time around. You've got 2 that will get you by while the larger kit is aging and then you can get another ready right behind it. Go for a white first since they they tend to be drinkable faster then make a red.

Yup, I'm planning an all juice wine after this kit. I am going up in price as I gain experience. I'm not much of a white wine drinker. I will settle for a chard. Do you have a kit that you would recommend?

No I don't make very many whites but give George a call and he can guide you.
