Research: Health benefits of oak phenolics

Man, some days I love my job! Turns out the Chemistry Department chairman at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, where I work, has done a research paper on possible health benefits of oak aging in wines.

Man, I don't know what it said but u can assume over oaking and over indulging is the key to a long, happy life!!!!. I'm happier already

Don't know about health ,but I just had some wine that was aged in used whiskey barrels for 14 mos, its some good stuff!! Now I'm trying to figure who I know in the whiskey industry in Ky. I had it at Brooks Hill Winery , in Brooks Ky
