I found a different LHBS, which with a little travel out of my way could allow me to make a kit which is not Mosti Mondale.

I cruised thier web page and found that they are selling a Wine Expert Sel Argentine Malbec 6 gallon kit for $140.

Does anyone have any review or feedback on this kit.

I know the Malbec we have been drinking at home from Napa (white rock Winery) is intense, smokey & full bodied.

I dont want to make a higher end kit only to find out it is weak and thin!

Any feedback on the kit would be appreciated!

I made the WE SI Argentine Malbec a number of times before the grapeskin version and loved it. I have made and bottled a grapeskin version about 6 months ago. Although all the other WE grapeskin kits I've made (brunello, tempranillo, eclipse) have become very drinkable in 3 months, the malbec kit has not become good in 6 months. I have put the two remaing cases in the back of my storage area, and will leave them another 6 months before trying again. I'm a little disappointed at this point.
