I made a pot of simple syrup for a bunch of wine I was bottling. I have about 3 cups left. If I put it in a mason jar how long would it still be usable for?
 
It keeps pretty well, I make many different kinds of simple syrups for my mixed drinks. They all seem to keep pretty well in the fridge even after a good bit of time.
 
As all of us who feed humming birds know--it lasts a long time under refrigeration.
