Why not get a stopper?

Good question! Just started using the Saran Wrap about 3 years ago and never gave it much thought to do otherwise. Like that I can squeeze my plastic carboys a bit and see that the wrap has maintained its seal. When using glass carboys I can't check seal when I want but can observe, from time to time, convexing or concaving due to changed atmospheric conditions. Solid bungs should work fine but wonder how they react to changes in atmospheric conditions.
