Well, I hate to admit it, but I chose a different hobby to invest in for this round of hobby spending.

Instead of crusher, press, inert gas system or other things related to winemaking, I chose to invest in music gear instead.

I got rid of a combo amp with too much power and picked up a modeler/effects unit to feed directly into the PA. Man this thing is sweet! It's a Digitech RP1000. The amp/cabinet modeling is impressive as hell and I can get the sound I want at volumes appropriate for my 20x24 studio/office. It even sounds great with the acoustic/electric plugged in :)

Nothing like new gear to reignite the passion!

The best part? No celibacy required :)

My hobbies tend to go in circles also. Motorcycles, guitars and now wine making. I have a Larrivee that is better than I will ever be.

Thig - All of my guitars are beyond my ability, but that means I can't blame the gear :)

Dan - There just has to be a "Winemaker Blues" waiting to be written! Stay tuned :)
