well racked my first go at sp last night into a carboy...sg was down to about.999 or so....question is though, should i let it sit for a couple of days, checking sg to see if it drops, or should i go ahead and stabilize, degas, and add clearing agents?... just a lil confused since the instructions pretty much sound like it's all done right away, which i am not accustomed to, let alone the fast fermentation that it had....any advice is greatly appreciated...

I racked mine into secondary and left it for 7 days. It went in at .998 and finished at .996. Turned out great for me. I would suggest verifying 3 days of same SG reading.

Let it sit for a while longer and it will be fine. I believe you are going to find that the s.p. tastes good before too long. Try and leave at least some of it sit for a couple of months and it improves a lot. Lots of times it doesn't last that long tho. Arne.
