Starting Specific Gravitity 1.070. how much sugar should I add to get to the desired 1.090?

i'm making 3 gallons of Raspberry/Grape Wine. 1 to 2 ratio raspberries to grapes. i'm not sure if the grapes released all there sugar yet. how long can i keep the mess bag in the wine before i have to pitch the yeast?

Are you using US Gallons (3.79 litres) or Imperial Gallons (4.55 litres)?

I like to add my sugar 1 or 2 cups at a time. Stir well then re-measure.

.. 3 gallons = 21.5 oz of sugar will take you from 1.070 to 1.090
Take some must out and heat in a pot and add sugar. stir till dissolved.
