In the last month I’ve had 16” of rain in the vineyard. The vines are growing in every direction except where I want them to. I did a horrible job pruning over the winter. Yesterday and today i thinned leaves in the rain so I could spray today. I sprayed captan and sulfur. I’ve been using systemic fungicides due to the quantity and frequency of rain. I am starting to see some black rot now.

For systemic I use Phostrol and tebuconazole. For early sprays I use mancozeb , sulfur and captan. This is the wettest year since I’ve lived here. I did get out and spray yesterday. Due to heavy rainfall I’ve sprayed every 6 to 10 days.
