I see some great racks/wine rooms here. Do all of them have cooling units?

My basement workshop/wine making area is 63-64 f. It may be even less if I walled off my furnace and water heater.

Would this be close enough to 55 degrees to handle my homemade wine and some moderate cost commercial wine? It seems like many of you are just putting racks into the cool portion of your basements, which is what I would like to do if it would be viable for storage of bottled wine under 5 years (I drink too much!).

Thanks

Absolutely!

While 55 is considered the "perfect" cellaring temperature what is more important is a constant (cool) temp with minimal temp swings. I am able to keep mine at 55 degrees for 6 months or so then ~65 or so in the Summer months with the use of a window unit. Warm temps accelerate the aging of wine. I have some expensive bottles of commercial in my winery. They are holding up quite well with these temps.
