Did you know......more wine is consumed on Thanksgiving than any other day

Interesting. I highly recommend Les Trois Emme Stingy Jack Pumpkin Wine if you live in the northeast. It's a Cayuga white with pumpkin and spices. And the owners are very receptive to home winemakers and even taste wine for home winemakers AND trade a bottle of theirs. Mary Jane and Wayne are awesome. Stingy Jack is always on my Thanksgiving table.

I plan on taking several bottles of my homemade wine to Thanksgiving dinner, and Saturday when we have a Thanksgiving dinner at our house for other family members, I plan to break out a few more bottles.

In the past I've made a good cranberry wine which went well with a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, and I'll have to start another batch soon for next year.

dang, no wine to share this year...grrrr...but next year, I'll have an assortment to share!

We're going to my wife's aunt's house, and she requested that I bring several bottles along. She's a wine drinker who apparently likes my homemade stuff.

I'm going to open one of my last 3 bottles of 18 month old Blackberry. We are changing tune this year and having prime rib. Cheers to all!

Mmm, prime rib sounds good. I personally don't care for turkey all that much, since it seems like it's always so dry. I prefer a good ham for Thanksgiving.

Speaking of blackberry, I think one of the bottles I'll be taking is a blackberry from a couple years ago.

once i got into wine making back 2005, my family always looked forward to me bringing homemade wine for holiday dinners....when i was on a long hiatus from the hobby from 2008 til this year, they were all bummed outbecause they had to settle for their old standby, beringer white zin....well so far this year as i have been back in production, everyone has been happy again, enjoying my wines....looking forward to unvailing my niagara and berry pom for xmas....lol...tomorrow will be more apricot peach chard, white zin, and white cranberry peach...unfortunately for me having 2 places to go to, about an hour apart from each other, i won't truly be able to indulge myself....lol....happy turkey day everyone!!!!!....

Yeah I'm glad that people request I bring my homemade wine along rather than request I DON'T bring my homemade wine along...
