After almost two years my apple wine still is not good enough to drink. probably never will be. So, with this last cold spell we had i freeze concentrated it twice and out of 9 liters i ended up with 3 liters of concentrate. Now I'm down to two because i capped one bottle and as it warmed up it exploded. It tastes better now, but I'm thinking of aging for another year or two. It was either this or throw it away, i did save 4 bottles of wine just to see what happens in a year or two.

Can also make wine jelly from any wine failures, just don't use oxidized wine for jelly. Make wine jam by also incorporating some actual fruit.

Apple wine is awesome to steam carrots, cabbage or squash with. Have used wines to make cookies and cakes, and wine slushes. Incorporate into olive oil and seasoning for a tasty dressing. Vinegar from dry wines. Blending with other wines, or vodka/pure grain plus sugar and spice for a twist on apple pie. There is always something.
