I think I already know the answer to this but thought I would verify. I have roughly 5.4 gallons of Shiraz that is in a 6 gallon carboy. It has been stabilized and has been on Oak but not yet cleared. Can I put the carboy in the back of my SUV and travel 2 hours? Keep in mind there is some head space in the 6 gallon carboy. Will this hurt the wine at all?
As always, Thanks

When I arrive, (2 hours away)the plan was to rack it off the oak and add the clearing agent then let it sit to clear. Trying to get a buddy involved in winemaking and let him finish it.

Well if anything it may be degassed when you get there! But it really should not be a problem as long as you secure it in the car.
